We recently attended a property in Shiney Row after the customer had a break-in in the early hours. The burglars used a blow torch, which is fast becoming a common way to gain entry: they melt the uPVC door around the cylinder so they can snap it out. The door was fitted with a high-security 3-star cylinder, high-security handles and a repair plate to hide nearly all the damage and help prevent this from happening again.

After a break-in or an attempted break-in, damaged locks and handles can be replaced and the door secured again, as on this job.
