Recent gain entry & lock change & gearbox replacement job in Millfield

We recently attended a property in Millfield after the customer could not open the door. I gained entry non-destructively and found that the gearbox was the issue. The lock was replaced and a new gearbox was fitted. The upvc door was working smoothly again afterwards.

A failing door gearbox usually gives some warning first: a handle that gets heavier to lift, a door that needs a lift-and-shove to lock, or a latch that stops catching properly. Replacing the gearbox itself is normally all that is needed.
