Gearbox Replacement & Door Realignment in South Shields

Recent gearbox replacement & door realignment job in South Shields

We recently attended a property in South Shields after the customer was having difficulty locking their door because of a failed gearbox mechanism. On closer inspection the cylinder was also found to be faulty. A new gearbox and cylinder were fitted and the door was realigned, then tested and working correctly again.

Jobs like this are common when a lock, gearbox, handle, door mechanism or window part starts to fail. Early signs can include stiffness, a handle that will not lift properly, a latch that does not retract, or a door or window that becomes difficult to secure.
