Gearbox Replacement in West Rainton

West Rainton: Gearbox Replacement completed

This West Rainton job began after the customer was having trouble locking their patio door, which was a security issue. This was due to a damaged bolt thrower on the gearbox. A new gearbox was fitted and the customer was very happy they could lock their door again.

A failing door gearbox usually gives some warning first: a handle that gets heavier to lift, a door that needs a lift-and-shove to lock, or a latch that stops catching properly. Replacing the gearbox itself is normally all that is needed.
