Faulty Window Mechanism

Window Mechanisms in Chester-le-Street

Job update — Window Mechanisms in Chester-le-Street

The customer in Chester-le-Street got in touch because they were having trouble locking their bathroom window due to a faulty mechanism. The gearbox mechanism was removed and replaced, and it was working correctly again.

Most window faults come down to one specific worn part — a hinge, handle, mechanism or the glazing unit itself. Identifying which one is at fault usually means the rest of the window does not need to be touched.
