Door Won't Open in Seaham

Door Won't Open in Seaham

Two of our Seaham-area jobs were doors that would not open, and they show how different the same complaint can be. In Seaham the customer could still lock and unlock the door, but the latch was not pulling back; the door was opened without damage and a new gearbox fitted. In Murton a tenant was shut out by a mechanism that had jammed the latch solid, and the only way to release it was to grind the latch off before fitting a new mechanism. Both jobs are listed below.

So the first question is whether the key and handle still move the lock at all. The gearbox repair itself is on uPVC door lock repair in Seaham.

We cover the whole Seaham area for this service, including Cold Hesledon, Dalton-le-Dale, Dawdon, Deneside, Hawthorn and Parkside.
