Recent window mechanisms job in Boldon Colliery

We recently attended a property in Boldon Colliery after the customer couldn't open their window because of a failed mechanism. It was opened non-destructively and a new mechanism was fitted and tested.

Jobs like this are common when a lock, gearbox, handle, door mechanism or window part starts to fail. Early signs can include stiffness, a handle that will not lift properly, a latch that does not retract, or a door or window that becomes difficult to secure.
